Safari in Tanzania
The word 'Safari' is derived from Swahili and means journey. In former times it was used for the chase of big game. Meanwhile the meaning of this word has changed and does not mean the shot of big game any more, but the photography and the observation of them. The famous 'Big Five', i.e. lion, buffalo, elefant, leopard and rhino, can be all seen in the African savannas. In addition other animals like wildebeest, zebra, hyena, giraffe, hippo, antilopes, cheetah, crocodile and many many others more can be observed.
In our Safaris our experienced staff will guide you perfectly through the savannas. We know the places to see. They depend on the season and the rain.

Ngorongoro National Park
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is also a World Herigage Site. In the Ngorongoro crater you have a guarantee to watch the endangered rhino.
But also the closer situated National Parks are worth to be visited. The Lake Manyara National Park is a National Park in the north of Tanzania. It extends in the west with the Great Rift Valley to the east with the Lake Manyara. In the south there are the hot springs Maji Moto. The Lake Manyara National Park has probably the highest density in necromass of mammals worldwide.
Tarangire National Park
The Tarangire National Park is located in the north of Tanzania southwest of Arusha. Through the park goes the Tarangire river which has water all year long, even in the dry season. For this reason many animals come here from the dry regions making it to one of the most dense big game areas in Africa.
Other interesing sites
There are many other interesting areas to see in Tanzania, namely the Lake Natron with its famous flamingos and other paradises for bird enthusiasts.
